Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Variant Images Shopify app, operated by Variant Images. By installing the app you accept them.

The service

  • Variant Images lets you assign product images to variant options such as colour and show only the selected colour's images on your storefront.
  • The service is provided as is. It is not guaranteed to be uninterrupted or error-free, or to work with every theme.

Subscription and billing

  • The app has a free plan and a paid plan; the current scope and price are shown on the app's public page and its plan screen.
  • The paid plan is charged through your Shopify bill and renews each period through Shopify. You can cancel at any time from the app's plan screen or from your Shopify admin; cancellation applies to later periods.
  • Payments and refunds are subject to Shopify's terms.

Acceptable use

  • You may use the app only on stores you are authorised to manage and in line with applicable law.
  • You agree not to abuse the service, disrupt it with excessive automated requests, try to bypass its safeguards by reverse engineering, or resell it to third parties without permission.
  • You are responsible for the product images and content you upload or assign.

AI-assisted suggestions

  • AI assignment produces suggestions; they are not guaranteed to be correct. It is your responsibility to check the results, especially in bulk jobs, with a dry run and the report before applying them.
  • The data sent for this feature is described in the Privacy Policy.

Limit of liability

  • To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect damages or for lost profits or sales. Total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app through Shopify in the period before the event in question.
  • This section does not affect any liability that the law does not allow to be limited.

Changes and ending

  • We may update these terms and the app; material changes are published on this page. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the new terms.
  • You can uninstall the app at any time. What happens to your data afterwards is described in the Privacy Policy.
