The selected colour's images, and only those
On a three-colour product the shopper does not get lost among nine photos. When the colour changes, the gallery, thumbnails and slider update together, with no empty slides when paging.
Show only the selected colour's images on your Shopify product page. A clear gallery instead of dozens of mixed photos, without adding a line of code to your theme.

Meaningless filenames, a mixed gallery? AI looks at the images and files each one under the right colour, leaving the ones it is unsure about to you.
Each colour's front view becomes its main image and the back view comes second, so every colour opens in the same order.
Assign the whole store in a single bulk job. Do a dry run, read the report, then apply. With a progress bar and resume built in.
Colour buttons show that colour's own product photo, so shoppers pick by eye instead of by name.
Your theme's own gallery, slider and thumbnails are used. No code edits, just one switch in the theme editor.
Other colours are hidden before the page paints and the gallery updates instantly on a colour change. The script is small and never blocks the page.
Download every assignment to a file, edit in bulk, load it back. Moving between stores is just as easy.
Assignments live in the product's own metafield. We store no customer data. When you uninstall, your data on our servers is deleted; variant featured images stay as normal Shopify data.
Run AI with your own Google Gemini key: no quota, and the cost stays in your own account and under your control.
No technical skills needed.
Approve it in Shopify and switch on the Variant Images embed in the theme editor. It only takes a few minutes.
Drag them one by one or run auto-assign: by filename, gallery order or AI.
When a shopper picks a colour, only that colour's images remain in the gallery. New products are assigned from the same place.

It filters the theme's own gallery on Online Store 2.0 themes; the Dawn family and themes using Swiper, Slick or Flickity are supported. It is currently used on a live store running the Ella 7 theme. If something looks off on your theme, write to us and we will adapt it.
That is the goal: the script is small, runs after the page has loaded and only loads on product pages. Hidden images are decided before the page paints, so nothing flickers.
Only for the products you run AI assignment on, the title, colour options and images are sent to Google Gemini to be classified. If you do not use the feature, nothing is sent. You can also enter your own API key.
Your gallery goes back to the theme default: every image shows again. Nothing was changed in your theme code, so there is nothing to clean up. Your session and bulk job records on our servers are deleted; assignments in product metafields stay in your store until Shopify removes them, and the variants' featured images remain as ordinary Shopify data.
